After considering the slow response I get at times, I have decided that Windows Update is a virus. This thing sits here clicking and whjirring, checking for updates. I tell it no, and then it goes and does its own thing in the middle of the night, complete with restarting. The last thing I got was a way for MS to keep track of where I browse, they claim to prevent phishing.
I just had to save my girlfriend's computer from a nasty virus...
...so now, I own a 250 gig external hard drive.

I use Firefox, love the tabbed browsing but there are still lots of sites out there (including my own company`s website) that will only work properly with IE. The new IE 7 also has tabbed browsing and is like an improved version of firefox.

I agree with the first part, in that many websites will not work with Firefox. My company's ordering website will not allow anything other than IE.
I don't know that IE7 is like an improved Firefox. The ones I've seen still load up a ton of toolbars and such that I just can't stand.
