Self explanatory. I'm sitting at work and between this morning and now, my T-bird key is GONE. At this point, I've had to call my wife to come pick me up.... no spare....

what do I do??

can I get ahold of Triumph? ...and how...

Call a local dealership...you're undoubtedly not the first.

Oh, and I can't resist this, in spite of your understandable angst...

You can change your moniker from "TailHooked" to

Whale Oil Beef Hooked

:hammer:

Sorry.

you need a slide hammer with a self tapping screw in the end like they use to pull dents out of car bodywork. screw the screw into the key slot in your ignition barell. then yank on the weight until the barell pops out. then you can use a screwdriver to turn the ignition on and you can replace the barell easily enough. no im not a bike theif, i have to reposess them.

Thank you both for your replies. Dunno what to think about "Whale Oil Beef Hooked" .... but I appreciate the sentiment :wink:

Somebody at work picked it up early in the morning, knowing it was mine... and neglected to tell me. Sure was fun looking, though! :evil:

Say it with kind of a Cockney accent...

Whale = well
Oil = I"ll
Beef = be (and the start of...)
Hooked = fuuked

:-D

I just spent about five minutes reflecting on whales, oil, beef, and the act of hooking.

I was trying to find a commonality between whale-oil, cows, and fishing. I eventually gave up and continued reading the thread. Sure glad someone explained this....

Thanks for the slide hammer idea. I may use it one day to get out of a jam.
