Define "Gouging."
Anytime I see potential legislation that is a knee jerk reaction to free market economics, I get nervous.
Should we legislate against the fluctuation (mostly upwards) in housing prices?
As we've gone on, ad absurdum, about this, we 'Mericans tend to feel victimized, while our overseas brethren would love to have our pump prices.
Markets go up and down. That's what they're supposed to do.
If the petitioners would like to step up and have some new refineries built in their neighborhoods, pricing fluctuations would moderate. Any takers?
