Does anyone know who owns the rights to BSA?

It may be BSA itself. The company still exists. If you go to a local sporting goods store and look at rifle scopes you will find a number of models made by BSA. Same logo as the old days (not the three crossed rifles, the winged B followed by SA).

Looks to me like these people.

And the owners club might be able to help too.

It may be that Triumph own the rights to some of the names.

Rocket III wasn't a Triumph model, but a BSA model. Stands to reason that Bloor may own the rights if he purchased the meridan factory where they were last made?

Still, I have no idea really, just supposition.

As Daveforty said see www.bsa-regal.co.uk.

The UK rights to the BSA name was acquired by the Canadian Aquilini family.
BSA Co. was sold and a US company (Bill Colquhuon's BSA Co.) used the name for Rotax-engined military bikes and Yamaha-based Bushman machines for developing nations.
In 1991, Andover Norton and BSA Co. merged to create BSA Group, which was taken over in 1994 to form BSA Regal.
They announced a new Gold SR using a Yamaha SR400 engine in a Gold Star styled chassis.

So why dya wanna know?

I reckon Birmingham has the rights to the BSA name! This City built em after all.

Actualy you can still get original parts for them from dealers in Birmingham who bought up old factory stocks when it went belly up.
