Hi,
North Wales Chief Constable Richard Brunstrom has used images of a decapitated biker without the consent of his family, as part of a campaign launch.

This isn't the first time Brunstrom has attacked or angered motorcyclists, and we're doing something about it.

Your email and name could tip the balance and bring Brunstrom to charge. Just send an email with your full name and address to mcn.online@emap.com with the subject line 'Brunstrom'

Or go here for details: http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/Ne...isesbrunstrom/

Extra Motorcycle: dya mean the one outside?
Oh for goodness sake - it's this bloody moron trampling over everyone's better judgment again. What is it about this man and motorbikes? Was he given one up the jacksie by a hell's angel when he was a kid or something?!
Now, I can sort of understand his point that there is a reasonable case for showing journalists the kind of thing which his officers are often faced with. But to do so without the express permission of the family involved is grossly inconsiderate and typifies Brunstrom's arrogance. Here is a BBC News article on the subject.

In fact, I gather today, he issued two young children with a couple of £80.00 fixed penalty fines for chalking hopscotch squares on a pavement. He seems determined to antagonise everyone.

As a society, we need to do something about rouge police officers like him - his appointment, and continued tenure, is proof that something is wrong with the system. Especially as there is now evidence which shows that his policies have only increased the number and seriousness of crime and road accidents in the area.

I've read about this guy before on this site and in articles in British media that were linked from here. He seems as though he would be more suited to a police position in a Fascist state than in a Democracy.

I'd be happy to send an email in support of his removal but it would probably be discounted since I'm not a British subject.

If you don't mind a comment from "the colonies," I was in the newspaper business for 40 years. the police with whom I dealt would never have called a press conference to discuss confidential material, or to present confidential material. After all, a press conference is designed to give information ot the public.

What this jerk did is absolutely inexcusable. He is apparently ignorant of his responsibility to the public and should be immediately fired.

As my signature says, this is a great illustration of unlimited stupidity.

Lets see here, cameras watching your every move, firearms confiscated, cameras handing out speeding tickets, black boxes hooked to your vehicles, taxed to death, did i miss anything. This guy, this*****, this officer of the law, is exactly what happens when you allow it. You owe it to yourselves to dump this guy. What the hell is next, random inspections of your home, Respect camp for dissidents, oh wait that one is already happening. See what i mean.

Itchin your right about most but having the right to allow University students to die at the hands of an assault rifle wielding nutter does not make you more free! Sorry but the guns make you free message in your post is hogwash.

As for the rest you are bang on the money. We are sliding apatheticaly into a police state in this country. And most of the silly buggers cant see it. They will argue

"so what about cameras etc, if your not doing anything wrong you've nothing to fear"

A german marrying a jew in 1929 had nothing to fear wasn't doing anything wrong, but by 1933 they was in deep do do.

And that is the problem with letting govt do this stuff.

Brunstrom? Well hes a nob that ought to go. We all know that.
