Since we are coming upon summer here in the States I was wondering what everyones' favorite riding season is. I have two:
I like crisp fall days when a leather jacket and gloves really shield you from the crisp air and hot humid summer nights when you feel the cool of river bottoms and a tee-shirt is all you need.
I try to ride all year round , the winters here in southwestern British Columbia are usally mild-wet ,some snow, and some nice winter riding days,if you don`t mind 30F tempetures,,,ohyaaa thats what heated vests and gloves are for
First signs of summer humidty now showing up and temps getting near 90. Won't be long till it's only comfortable to ride in early morning or late afternoon.

I like summer around here. It gets hot, but we don't have the humidity they get in the east. Humidity hits 40% and people around here start complaining about how muggy it is.
I've managed to ride at least one day of every month for the last two years, except for last January, when I could have-- I just happened to be skiing that day! Not bad for New England!
September here is the best time--warm days, low humidity, and most of the tourist trraffic has gone back home to work and school... Late August, too for the same reason. Right now, we get good spells, but the roads are still beat up from the winter (Frost heaves and their carcasses can get mildly amusing at times!) and there's still lots of sand around...But the days are warming up and the evenings are getting longer, all good signs...
I think here the roads are bad enough without adding rain to them, so any dry day is good, it never gets cold here , but is often wet .
