YOUR AGE BY EATING OUT
Don't tell me your age; you probably would tell a falsehood anyway-but your waiter may know!

YOUR AGE BY DINER & RESTAURANT MATH

This is pretty neat.

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute .
Work this out as you read .
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things, it's fun.

1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to go out to eat.
(more than once but less than 10)

2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

3. Add 5

4. Multiply it by 50

5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1757 ....
If you haven't, add 1756.

6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number
(I.e., how! Many times you want to go out to restaurants in a week.)

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

don't know how??

The inevitablility of the answer can most easily be seen by supposing that you don't like to go out at all, in which case the sum of steps 1 - 4 is 250 which, when added to 1757 (assuming you have had your birthday this year), results in 2007 i.e. the current year. Deducting your year of birth from that figure is bound to produce your age.

I'll give you a ride Jen but you can have the Bundy, I can't drink rum after that wild night in St. Thomas when I was a sailor.. it was the full moon, ....pure sandy beach's...no one but me and her...her skin the color of finest mahogany, those smoldering eyes....full moist lips.... her three sisters....each competing for my affections.....the warm Caribbean waters lapping at our feet.....

The thundering blast of their fathers Blunderbuss...the stinging sand...the dull thuds of their mothers size 10 Converse All Stars as she kicked my butt.....the ugly shouts of her 14 brothers in hot pursuit as I ran like a Frenchman back to the boat............

Gives me chills just to think of it, so....no rum for me, you my dear may imbibe at will, I'll stick to whisky.

Good explanation Tony. Basically all the math cancels out leaving you subtracting your age from the current year :) Like all magicians, its just smoke and mirrors
