2) Pity there was no shot of that other bike hitting the oil, it was literally flying!!!
3) Jeez it took a long time to red flag that race - which is not good.
Look closely at the footage and you will see me my mate Scott and Alex in the background. That was Assen back in 2002 I think. The Doc who did get hit by the bike got away with a broken leg. Though we didn't know it at the time. We thought he'd had it. I distinctly remember the guys crowding forward to get pics and My freind Alex calling them all sick fuggers in her blunt Nottinghamshire way.
It was a good trip though. A particularly boozy night in Brugge in a tiny nightclub springs to mind. By the end the staff were giving us free shots to try and get us so pissed we'd stop dancing. We were the last ones in there.
Ah happy days.Though not the immediate next day I've never ridden a bike feeling so rough before or since.
