The other week the French newsreader. Now, one of France's world famous chanteuse.

It's true. Angels only sing in French. If you want the evidence click the link below.

To be living but a few miles from one of the most cultured nations on earth fills my heart with delight.

Vive La France!

I could listen to her all night - and probably will!

Whatever happened to Anouk Aimée? I remember she was married to Albert Finney for a time, incredible good luck for him but it pissed me off!!

Wow! Not bad for a 63 year old! I don't think I'm being in the least ungalant in mentioning her age.

Hey dd, I used to do that every year but now I have to go on four wheels. The Route Napoleon just isn't the same although I did manage to scrub up the tyre tread on my hired Megane. :yayyy: Oops, sorry Mr. Hertz.

I go as I said every year and more if possible, I just take a few days off, ride down to Dover and go, I never have a route or destination plan, just get over there ride till I want to stop, eat when hungry drink when thirsty and stay off the Piage, I am constantly amazed at the reception I get at villages, at bike shops where the whole team come out to see the TRRRIUMMPF I have had the chain tensioned and lubed in small village bike shops who point blank refuse payment so many times, so cool, and the way every french driver moves across to wave the bike through, amazing, and drinking wine and eating cheese or Bif tek for tea, or drinking coffee and eating crossant at 7 am in a roadside bar, fantastic!
