I wish to extend my apologies to Wombat and any others for my rant yesterday though I am very glad you locked that post. I should have not been in my attack mode, and Wombat I appreciate your opinion and understanding. There are just some things I am very passionate about, and that happens to be one. I love my country as much as I hope you all have the same love of yours.
I have literally seen the world with the exception of Antarctica, and enjoy every new experience and culture I come in contact with. It is probably that sense of adventure and wonder that keeps me coming back to this site. I learn something new every time I come here. The eclectivity (not a word, I know), expertise and simple common sense that the members of this forum exude is something I hold in high esteem.

I am not an angry American bent on world domination. I am a simple Soldier and Patriot who is watching his country spiral in a clockwise direction towards the nearest septic tank, and I am He!! bent on doing everything that I can to prevent that from happening in my small corner of the world. Unlike many of my fellow country folk, I believe an active role in the community is imperative to the continued education and moral development of our communities. I will not sit back and watch the people I love so dearly destroy what so many have worked so diligently to provide.

I know this an extremely long post for me, with that said take care, ride safe and do something for our future that is positive and lasting. :chug: :chug:

I missed your rant but your apology is very well done. There's nothing wrong with love of country.

Other Motorcycle: I wish!
Thank you Joe.
There are many things that many of us are passionate about and that is good.

I appreciate that you love your country as I do mine, both my adopted country AND my country of birth.

But sometimes we have to step back and have a laugh at ourselves.

We are all a strange bunch, and some are stranger than others.

it was just for laughs. being patriotic is a good thing. stay with what moves your heart and soull... having personal beliefs and love of country is better than apathy or working for your own gains. good luck!
