Out of wood? We just had 7 100' Douglas Firs taken down on our property. You just have to come out to Oregon to get it!

I had a lovely, Macaroni cheese, with a vintage Tea, the meal was done on full power for two minutes stirred and done for a further two minutes before serving, MMMMMMMMMMMM.

Right right right. Is "cerdo" dominican? and "lechon" puerto rican? Or, wait, one of them is cuban?

Oh, and what ABOUT that longineza?! There was this most amazing greasy place around 101 St. in Queens off Roosevelt.

Hey! You're ALL invited! Where the heck were you Jersey guys when I lived in Staten Island? And FlyingScot, thanks for the wood, but I've been told that fir burns badly in ye olde wood stove...

Tembleque, flan, creme brulee, creme caramel: how many names can we come up w/ for vanilla pudding?

Jen, copious amounts of wine and Bundy will be required! Someone bring a pig please! I have a GREAT firepit! (and am also quite accomplished at vegetarian dishes as well.)

The lime juice seemed to be the kicker...!

You guys have some fresh water fishies that are pretty good don't you? I like Catfish, Trout and Bass some others I've had that I can't think of. I've never lived more than 20 miles from salt water in my life so eating fresh seafood is just a given, sometimes we even cook it :roflmoa2:

I'll be out in a little bit Mare, hang on..

Wow, it wasn't until I read this thread that I realized how much I miss home-cooking.... College food is rough on the spirit. Worst part is, I don't go home again until May.

*shuffles over* Um, Mare? Can I stay at your house for the weekend? Please? I'll cut you some firewood if you like.

Free sofa-space in exchange for wood-chopping!!!!!

DEAL!

Actually, it'd be better if you showed up w/ a log splitter. We've GOT giant logs on the ground, they just don't fit in the stove... Ah the joys of country life! Who knew?

Thanks TonUp, you can give me a hand with the log splitters, I've still got my winter wood to cut, several ton of it, so have you done a ton-up on wood ? It's stacked 2 metres high and 15 metres long. Mostly pine with some Tea-tree. It will put muscles on your spit and give you an appetite for dinner.
