MrBiff2you,

I have driven the 405 and the 5, regularly through different seasons. Ulike here, where rain is frequent, and people tend to slow up a bit, the 5/405/toll road is a death trap in the wet, as so many of your countrymen seem incapable of adapting their driving, and increasing distancesbetween vehicles. I always use the toll roads when I commute between Long Beach and Mission Viejo. Its a bit slower, and lighter on traffic.

We have used rolling road blocks before. However, the Police have extraordinary powers here. Perhaps Big Stripey (I think he is a traffic cop) might comment. As far as I am aware, the police have the power to stop riders when there are more than a certain number, (I believe four or five). I also think that you have to get permission to organise a demo.

We are so law abiding here, that we would actually do all that rather than suddenly congregate in South London, and put 10,000 bikes into the City Centre at 20 mph.

Perhaps we could all take our helmets off as well.

And then we can sit back, and wait for the prosecutions to roll in - as Number Plate Recognition cameras are all over London, and CCTV makes it pretty easy to identify people.

So, before we go, we all remove our number plates, and wear false beards and moustaches.

Not making light of your suggestions Steve, but the rot has already set in here - people are too cowed to protest properly, and therefore we sink further into a controlled state.

Why do you think I want to emigrate?

Extra Motorcycle: dya mean the one outside?
I could descend into an almighty rant about governments taking liberties with our liberties here... but I won't.

All I'l say is, it's just another sign that the suade denim secret police will soon be knocking on our front doors.

I will not carry an ID card

I will not carry a device around that can monitor my movements.

I am a law abiding guy - but I will resist a police state.

Levenvale.

I am with you Bud.... I see no need for an ID card. All this "If you are innocent you have nothing to fear" is twaddle and disguises the fact that another of your inalienable rights has been STOLEN off you by a controlling state. SO, I wont carry one. I will also ride or drive any machine that will be too obsolete to have such an invasive device fitted to it. I would rather bluddy cylce than have some computer tracking me night and day.

I also dont have a store loyalty card - they can poke their "Points" I dont want my local tescos knowing what I buy. I now draw cash out of the hole in the wall, and pay pound notes for as much as I can. I only use a card where I have to. I expect that some of you out there will accuse me of paranoia. Well, what do you expect when everyone is out to get me!

I have no criminal record, and nothing to hide. But my private life is just that - its PRIVATE. I will share some information voluntarily and when I have a justified legal obligation to do so.

I take all the loyalty cards and destroy them instead of using them. If enough people do likewise they will not be cost effective since they cost something like £15 to set up etc.

I don't know guys, we might have some pretty big fun with this...

I would take off the sender and put it on my Lionel train set and have it run in circles 24/7...

or

splice into the local UPS truck wiring loom and have it run all over the neighborhood, I think my buddy the UPS driver would dig it...

or

hook it up to a dry cell battery and UPS air ship it back to myself, wonder how that would look on a print out...

these idiots don't have a clue what could be done to screw up their system.
