Chevy brings the Sting Ray back

http://money.cnn.com/gallery/autos/2...html?hpt=hp_c2

Chevy bringing back the Sting Ray after 39 years. Looks stunning. Yea, I know the youngsters and their love of twin turbo, helium powered roller skates will laugh and point fingers but in the 60s that was the car.

Sweet ride. Makes me hope my mid life crisis comes early.

I don't like it.

It looks like it was styled by a committee and everyone's suggestions were used. There's just so much styling. I don't like the quarter windows and I don't like the back end. The '56-'57 front grille looks out of place. Oh, and a seven-speed manual?

I do like the quad exhaust in the middle and that the Corvette no longer shares its steering wheel with 95% of GM's other cars.

Lee. The same engine in the Caddy V coupe costs $67k, so maybe in that ball park.

Where do you get the helium for that VW Golf roller skate you push?

GTI, Golf, Rabbit or Passssat. What's in a name? Still a roller skate with a model airplane motor isn't it?

Oh and thanks for finally updating the blog.

It looks like I've given HAP some new material. Finally, a break in the old routine.
