The Bring Dog Back to the US Appeal
Gee this place is boring since Dog went back to Oz. I miss my daily giggle at his latest antics, spreading mayhem & liver damage amongst the poor unsuspecting members here. & the strange places that Zen/Nav would lead him to.
So unless the Bald One's planning a similar thread on his endless tour of this wide brown land, on his (choke, cough) FJ 1200. I think he should sell the offending Yammy & get his butt back stateside asap. TRN needs him! What say you?

Careful what you wish for Scratch, currently counting the pennies contemplating the East Coast, my sister lives at Yorkies Knob.
I have a kickass route half worked out.

We not only want Dog back, but Jonk as well. It hasn't been the same since they left. Some of our silverware may be missing, and some of the women still have stars in their eyes, but any Aussie else that wants to check out their travels over here is welcome. That's you too Scratch. I bet Lefty's got extra room in the basement, and "Hap's Friendly Triumph Emporium" still has some slightly used, low mileage, one owner models on the showroom floor. I'm planning some more rides this year. Maybe even crossing exotic Indiana. Yeehaw!
And if ya can't make it over, send more Vegemite.

You set yourself lofty goals Unc.
Indiana will be a virtual wasteland after the panoramic high of crossing Kansas.
Give that man 300 grams of Vegemite, STAT!

Of course both Dog and Jonk are welcome back any time, god they have bedrooms named after them that the grand kids fight over when they stay.
Only condition the lady of the house has for any one coming from down under: no Vegemite in the house and don't feed it to the widget or the dogs.
Just babied the Bonny after I told her how unfaithful Dog was with that tart Yamy.

Yep, I keep looking for "The Dog has Landed" thread updates. Doesn't seem quite right around here. Maybe it's time for some of us natives to start creating our own zen.
I've never been to a rat raid without running into the Dog so this year will be different for sure.
Dog, anything thing interesting you can tell us about returning home?

I think your contributions would be better spent sending Lefty around Australia. That'd be a laugh.

Carlton Draught on tap is awesome!
It is all familiar, but different now, I look at things and don't see them the same as what they were, neither better nor worse, I just view them differently. I think I gained a greater appreciation of what I have here.
Still trying to get my head around all I accomplished.
Oh, and our mountains are tiny now...
