And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then, shalt thou count to three. No more. No less. Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then, lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it."

He used... sarcasm. He knew all the tricks, dramatic irony, metaphor, pathos, puns, parody, litotes and... satire. He was vicious.

If that was from memory, you are my hero!

Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean the whole world isn't out to get me.
Words mean things.

My life is not without meaning. I can be held up as a bad example.

As we're talking Monty Python, I thought you might be interested to learn that the big dance finale performed at the end of the "Every Sperm is Sacred" sketch from "The Meaning of Life" was filmed on the streets of my home town, just 5 minutes walk from my house. I can remember it clearly, as all the adjoining streets were cordoned off during filming.
