Oh no, it's fake.
Here's a more entertaining raptor video. I think it's real, but it may be altered.

They take their eagles seriously, eh?
Anways, I've watched that videa 6 times now and haven't seen a golden eagle once. I'll watch it a few more times to make sure.

Fake, I could have told you that as soon as the bird screeched before diving in. Ive watched thousands of eagles down by the Homer, Ak coast line. But on another note I did see a bald eagle take a Chiwawa out of an old ladies little dog pen set up out side their motor home.

I completely agree, it's obviously a Bald Eagle with a comb-over.
Really though, whatever the bird is, the video looks very real to me and the attack would scare the crap out of any kid or parent or child on earth.

I kind of figured it was a fake or someone made a mistake in calling it a golden eagle, I never heard of a golden eagle around these parts.

If you'd filmed it and put on Youtube we could post it here. Thenw e could debate if it wa real or not.
I suspected the video wasn't real judging by the lack of response of the mother in this video (no yelling, screaming, waving hands etc) and lack of crying from the baby. Eagles have been known to pick up small animals like the kind of dog rich people put in hand bags and small cats (like my half wit kitten.)

Ok, so it's not baby snatching, but here's a couple eagles taking on a wolf:
(not much of a fight, either)
