I claim this page for Mr. Bloor, and I thank him for not naming his motorcycles after himself.

Riding a 'Bloor" just doesn't have the same feel as riding a "Triumph".

Another thing thats pleasing is the number of young riders that don't have an attachment to the heritage of the brand. They ride Triumphs on their own merit. Bikes like the Speed Triple have forged a reputation since Bloors ownership that has created a whole new genre of production bikes from other brands trying to catch up.

Dunno if I'm thankful. I've never been obsessed with a motorcycle make until Triumph.

Before I first laid eyes on a modern Bonneville, I had a 2006 Suzuki Katana, 6 months from being paid off. Full LED light kit. Once I laid eyes on a Bonneville I could not think of anything else than getting a Bonneville. 6 months later I had my Bonneville.

Unfortunately the experience with the Bonneville was so positive that I became obsessed with replacing my capable Yamaha VStar 1300 with another Triumph. One year later that VStar was replaced with a 2011 Rocket 3 Touring and am in the process of modifying the beast to better fit me.

Along with the bikes, I have branded aftermarket keychains probably about 20 or so shirts, a mousepad and would not mind a tattoo.

If it weren't for Mr. Bloor making such gorgeous and capable motorcycles I'd have the 'tuna paid off and the Yamaha not far behind.

Curse you Mr. Bloor, may your crumpets forever be stale and your tea bitter.

BTW, Dog I do wear chaps on both my bikes when the weather gets nippy down here...

Yeah thanks. Now if you would just sell me one that worked on a regular basis it would all be good.

May as well just buy a 70's Triumph.

Thank you Mr. Bloor (one grade more to get a knighthood) for buying the Triumph name along with the old factory and developing both.

For making me take an extra second or two in the garage just to look at my Bonnie even if I'm not going to ride it it just looks so darned pretty!!
