Update: Skamp is doing better today and he is now slowly sipping at his water bowl as long as the water is luke warm and I put a tiny bit of Chicken Broth in it for him. Poor old man just cannot chew anything or take much in his mouth. Made some of his Kibble into soup and he sniffed it and did not want any and he has had that same soup before.
Come on Monday and the big Dental Surgery at the Vet!!!!! Never thought I would be saying I'm looking forward to a Monday. Smack me up.

Hope Skamp continues to improve. My wife and I have our "fur kids" and they are part of the family.

Thank you very much. Since starting his meds his gums look so much better and his mouth so so swollen looking. Teeth still look bad but Monday at Surgery will take care of all that is one long day of Dental Work. The hard part is my GF and I giving him his meds twice daily.
5 more Med Treatments until Monday morning. I am not sure what we will be required to do after that. The Doctor will send home the directions I am sure. My GF will have to pick up Skamp at the Vet because I will be at home watching our Disabled Son.
Thanks everybody once again for your prayers for Skamp.

I feel your pain and angst for skamp, he'll be in my thoughts. My kelpie got out a couple of weeks ago and ate a bait, when i found her she was close to death, the Vet said It's critical,...50/50. The good news is she pulled through, she's a tough little dog. She helped me with my rehab after I had a major off a while back. So yes, their more than pets their family
Give him a nice pat and a tummy rub for me.
John

Will do and sending prayers up for your four legged furry kid too.
Both of my Four Legged Furry Kids Skamp and Fiona are my Psych Therapy Dogs. It is relaxing to lay on the floor with them on my pillow or on the couch with them and snuggle up.

Here's to things going smoothly on Monday.
And to a quick and complete healing.

Many times I've threatened to have my dogs teeth knocked out. But hope yours pulls through alright, and is fighting fit soon.
My dog is my best friend in the world, and I know how horrible it feels to see them suffer, especially if they can't tell you about it. My thoughts are with both of you....
