I'd comment but I'm too busy texting.

Boy, is this ever true. My kid is 22 now and in his last year of college (the FIVE year plan LOL). He STILL doesn't want his driver's license. Are you kidding me??? I thought I was raising some kind of weird kid until I read that a LOT of kids don't get their license at 16 anymore because they don't go anywhere. They just hang out with their friends online. Even when he comes home on breaks (from Ohio State) he doesn't get together with his old high school buddies. They just all get online together. I think it's absolutely twisted, but apparently that's just how it is these days. Geez!

..............Social media and texting have made people delusional as to what a FRIEND really is.
The definition of acceptable "manners" has been completely and totally scrapped. Iam not sure what the new definition may be !------These are just an example of the changes noticed by an older casual onlooker ; who is also afraid times are changing !..............................

Yep, sad how many people wander around the store I work in with their heads buried in the phone. I'm kind of surprised more folks aren't bumping into each other!

DAILY, I half jokingly say to coworkers who are texting: "Hey, are you texting me? I'm right here!"

I'm still living with an old flip phone since the service is so cheap. I've started mildly shopping for a smart phone but really don't want to pay the hundreds of dollars in increased yearly service fees.

The driving licence thing is weird.

Trouble with licences is when you need them you seldom have time to get them. Get it out of the way early.

Kids these days! Don't know how good they've got it blah blah blah. World going to pot, blah blah blah.

I'm far more connected now with my friends than I ever was before. I've got good friends that I've never actually met, and probably never will. The technology in my pocket means I've got everything at my fingertips. I wouldn't ever go back.

Quoted For Truth.

I've been run into just walking by some of these zombies. Totally oblivious to their surroundings.
