Because its so difficult to get good techno nowadays?

No real reason but the longer version of the noise is the data transmission interfering with the speakers.

the little sequence of beeps the mobile sometimes does randomly is just it reaquiring or adjusting connection with the mobile mast (cell tower).

Ever thought this forum might be a lot less random if any of us actually read the contents of each others posts?

I used to be a pilot in my past life. You could always tell if a mobile phone was on board and switched on because you would hear it every now and then chortling away in the headsets.
