Well,I'm back into the Triumph fold...Kind of..

I picked an 18000 mile 900 Trophy up a couple of months back to use as the work bike and to get me through the winter and beyond.



It's been a while since I had a T3,the last being a 1200 Daytona a couple of years ago.I'm quite surprised by how cramped my legs are on the trophy.Looks like I need the peg mounts off a slightly newer trophy to lower them a bit.I raised the bars slightly using a set off a trident which helps hugely,though I have coneverted a top yoke to use normal bars as well..Not sure If I'll use this now though as I'm finding the trident bars quite comfy.



I love riding the Trumpet and that 900 engine is a peach.I think I prefer it to the 1200 lump.Sure it's not as fast,but plenty quick enough without risking your licence too much...

This is my other baby though.The Busa comes out when the weather's nice,and is what I'm heading off to the south of Spain on next year.

The Trophy looks well maintained and should last you until you can stomp a hole in the atmosphere with the Busa.

Do you have a Super Blackbird lurking in the shed?

I love the Blackbird..Over the years I've been lucky enough to have owned 5..3 black ones,a blue one and titanium one..This is the last one I had a couple of years ago.



I would like to have another..I'll keep an eye out in the new year,and might see about getting another..Probably one of the best bikes ever built.

They are such good looking bikes,and the look superb in silver.I love that turbine smooth engine.It really is a shame Honda didn't develop the Blackbird more,rather than unleash the VFR1200 on us..I believe they're quite good,but the looks just don't do it for me
