My new ride

My RVF 400 finally arrived a few weeks ago, 6 months after first ordering it. But it was really worth the wait.

It's a little pocket rocket, & an absolute cornering demon. I love it! Though it hasn't diminished my love for my Triumph at all, & I'm just going to have to keep them both (tough call, but someone had to do it). The bike wears it's 17 years well, which makes me think that the 8K klms on the odometer might be close to the truth. The importers put a new carbon exhaust system on it, to compensate for the bike taking so long. & the only thing I need to do to it is replace the brake lines with stainless steel braided lines, to eliminate the spongy brake feel, & they've already been ordered. So if I get any visitors who I know can ride, I've got a spare bike for them. Any takers?

I'm on my way right now!

Nice bike, Scratch.

I like my bikes like I like my women: heavy and slow.

ya little hooigan

You were very lucky to get such a well tidy example. Rode one a few years ago - some performance for a 400

The older I get, the faster I was

Nice design, doesn't look dated at all.

Visitors? Hmmmmm. It's a long ride.

Very nice, Scratch,
Is it anywhere near as small as the 12 MV ?
Man, I sat on one, and couldn't even bend me dicky knee enough to put me foot on the peg.

Sweet ride Scratch. I'd love to have something like that in the garage.
