Five All-Time Bands

I couldn't help thinking about this this morning. I happened to put on the Beach Boys and THe Glenn Miller Band, back to back. THey so rock. Glenn Miller, especially, was just the peak of all music. So here's my Top FIve:

5. Talking Heads
4. Jefferson Airplane
3. The Beach Boys
2. John Coltrane Quartet
1. Glenn Miller Band

You notice I didn't mention THe Beatles or THe ROlling Stones. You can, if you believe it, but not me.

Turn on, Tune in and Ride off

Agree with leaving out stones and beatles, and including Talking Heads, nice selections.

Used to love Led Zepplin, but way overplayed on radio til I tired of them. Ditto U2
