That's a Piaggio Ape. It's pronounced ah-peh and it's the Italian word for bee. It makes sense since Vespa is Italian for wasp.

It appears Boldor is really getting into this scooter thing. I predict he's already looking on CL for his own so he can hunt down these gorgeous women on the proper vehicle. I think I'm going to have to make a trip to NYC next spring on mine with a similar goal in mind. Finding secondary roads there will be the biggest hurdle.

I don't think so Ride. Pardon my separation of the sexes, but chics ride scooties (and look lovely on them), blokes ride bikes. I am back off the shelf, so no chasin' scootie chics for me for a little while. But if and when I get put back on the shelf, all I need is a bike that goes faster than scooters.
And yes, I am into scootie chics. Scooters, high heels, long hair and pearls: things only a chic should wear.

I helped a pretty scooter chic get her scoot started this summer. I was on the Tiger. No way I could ask her to ride with me but now I can. I've opened another door. Let's see who walks through it ...
Now, back to our originally scheduled program...
