Dislikes:

Water cooled
2 stroke engine
The engine just doesn't look like it belongs.

I think they could fix some of that last issue by putting two upper tube frame struts... one over the tank and one under the tank and lowering the tank a little in the frame to occupy some of that open air space between the bottom of the current tank and the top of the engine. Something more like this:

Big gaps between engine and tank are quite authentic...

I'm desperately fighting the urge to get one of those babys. Their website mentions making a 250cc model. Now if that ever comes out.......

I could imagine myself on a Scott Flying Squirrel then.

Thanks for helping make my point. In the picture you posted the distance between the top of the engine and the bottom rail of the gas tank is about 1/2" - 1", and on the tribute bike the gap from the top of the engine to the bottom rail of the gas tank is about 6".

So... no the proportions aren't "authentic."
