It's a really pretty bike. If it can achieve double digit speeds it can compete with my GF's Guzzi V7 Racer...

I think it could be an interesting choice depending on its price. Obviously, the proddy version won't have Ohlins but I see there's a kicker on it. I'd like to see that make production.

It could be a good second bike in lieu of an actual classic since it will have a warranty. Plus, with RE's spotty reliability, it will be like owning an actual classic.

The original Continental GT was a 250cc, how big is this version? My second bike, when I was 17, was a RE Crusader Sports and of course I lusted after the GT, it was all I ever wanted untill I moved up the displacement ladder.
So yes this new RE brings back all the excitement of motorcycling in the 60's, I love it! But how big is it?

This is a Velocette engined, Indian badged hybrid, put together by Floyd Clymer in the late 60's. It has nothing to do with Royal Enfield.

You are correct MG. I found the specs under Indian with the story. I had found the picture in Royal Enfield history search. Incorrectly labeled. sorry about that.

Well, HAP, you could have looked at the gas tank where it says Indian Velo 500.

Hmm, that could be why you like sport bikes instead of cruisers. The poo goes straight out on a sport bike but on a cruiser, you have to sit in it all day.
