AHL. He is playing. Given the quality options for beer t's pretty tough to get through GR without getting bombed. I'd have suspected him of inebriation as soon as I found out he was a hockey player.
Funny story, I'll try to keep it short. End of HS senior year. Big keg party planned at a fellow grads house. School AD gets wind of party (his son was a class mate). Hoping to prevent party, AD threatens to call the coach of any college bound athlete caught at party (I was attending on a hockey scholarship). AD stakes out party and invites himself in. I, and a couple others called his bluff and did not ditch our beers when he showed up. Following through on threat he makes the phone calls. My coach, a Canadian and former NHL veteran started laughing when he got heard the news; "Drinking? The boys a hockey player! Hell, I'd be worried if
didn't drink!" Keep in mind that this was over 35 years ago.
