Well, I actually still own 2 vintage cars. The 1973 Mach 1 had all the horsepower strangled out of it's 351 CJ by low compression and poorly implemented pollution controls. We found ways around that, but everyone said the era of the musclecar and big horsepower was gone forever. Except now you can buy a 650 hp Mustang with a warranty that runs on pump gas and passes MORE stringent emission testing.
I don't particularly like ethanol, especially from corn, in my gas. But I don't think having E 15 as an alternative for vehicles that are designed to use it as being the end of times. I can drive 1.2 miles from my house and get non-ethanol premium gas, and 1 mile to get Sunoco race gas, I can't imagine that isn't the case for most everyone; this is not a major metropolitan era.
