18/20. Of course I missed the foreign currency (math) question and the damned river.

16/20...I really should have done better, as much as I've traveled. And most of the FS flunkies I've dealt with have trouble proving that they're alive...like the guys that got me stuffed onto a plane in the middle of the night in El Salvador w/a bunch of journalists that were being run out of the country during the Sandinista/Contra period.

I got 15/20 by their reckoning, however their answer to #2 is completely incorrect. They stated that if demand is high, the price must be lowered to find buyers. Substitute the word supply for demand, and they would be correct. Hard to believe a mistake like that could slip in there.

Edit-I didn't read the posts, I see I wasn't the only one who caught that.

You're hired based on your ability to think outside the (pizza) box.
I got a 70 by the way. I'd be hired because a "C" is considered average and they don't want any hotshots working for State.

17 out of 20 but I disagree with the demand/price one. I would think that an increase in demand would result in an increase in price, given an inelastic supply. That would make them proportionally related, not inversely related.

Question #2 is a trick question. English comprehension is required for getting it right.
The answer is related to the amount of product, not the amount of demand.

If it's reworded: The amount of a product and the product's price are inversely related, the answer seems clear, unless there is no demand for the product. If the product is not demanded, the price is zero regardless of the supply.

I think.

Slow, the amount of product demanded is not he same as the amount of product.

You can't reword by removing a word, that changes the sentence entirely.

The amount of product demanded would be how much of it people want not how much of it is available.

What happens when you remove the word "a"? Might that also change the meaning of the sentence, subtly?

I still...
