Hobbits

Is anyone looking forward to the hobbit movie? I enjoyed The Lord of the Rings movies so I want to see the new movie.

I read the books back in middle school and that is what got me into reading.

I'm looking forward to it. I loved the first two and if Jackson holds to the same standards he had for LOTR then it should be great!

You betcha! I love that stuff Im a bit concerned that it is not yet rated, that always seems like a bit of a redflag for how movies do.

I can't wait to see these movies! I've been a Tolkien fan since I first read The Hobbit as well.

I even uhhhh bought some nerdy movie swag..... some Hobbit editions of the Moleskine notebooks... lemme just push up my glasses real quick....

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I and a bunch of like minded nerd buddies were totally into Tolkien in the early 70's. So much so that we learned how to read and write in elven runes. We were (are) such a bunch of geeks!

Oh yeah.
If The Hobbit is half as good as the Lord of the Rings trilogy it'll still be fantastic.

That is funny. My daughter and her Jr High buddies did the same in the late 70's so the parents wouldn't know what was being said about stud number 2 or 3. She married one years latter and I still have no idea what the runes said about him.
