We actually think a like. My two yr old Microsoft mouse just had to be replaced. The thing is, I can understand your loyalty to American made products, keeping US factory workers employed and supposedly keeping the profits here in America, but American made does not always equate with best made. I'm a furnituremaker and my older tools are American made, but my newer tools are European, even if the Euro is out sourced as well. The names Dewalt, Rockwell, Stanley, Rigid, etc. don't mean the same as they did in the '50s.

I'm with you on the tools.
I have one of the last Skil circular saws made in USA.
Against my better judgment I bought a Craftsman made in China drill press. It's pure junk.
I'm going to have to start trolling auctions and yard sales for old American-made power tools.

. Another vote for the switch to Carhartts. They feel like good old fashioned heavy denim!
