The weird thing is, I was just thinking about him a few days ago.

As a kid, I liked his character in I Dream of Genie, and thought it was cool that he was an astronaut. I had a crush on Barbara Eden but since her character was always getting him into jams, she exasperated me, and I wanted him to stuff her back in the bottle. I guess I didn't understand the point of conflict in story development.

I just read on IMDB that Hagman was apparently difficult to work with, and they considered writing him out of the series by having him lose Genie's bottle (to then be found by his replacement), but the studio liked him.

In fact, just quietly, I`d probably still knock it up her and I wouldn`t say that about too many 78 year olds.
