I like the style of the under seat exhaust. I never noticed as much heat baking my right leg on any thing more than a 675. I loved riding the bike but Ducati did a much better job of managing the heat then Triumph has.

In 15 years they'll be putting exhaust cans under the seat again. Trends come and go. I never feel any heat from the exhaust on the S3, the cans are light and I certainly don't feel any weight issues or balance issues. Some bikes have too much empty space between the seat and the tire for my taste, but style trends are just that.
