Typing and drinking a Hop Devil Ale from Victory Brewing Co . It's good to be able to multi-task.

beer
My old stand by is good-ole vitamin G but I drink New Castle when I want a light beer. Then again, I think of a light beer when I can see light through it. In the Pacific Northwest you can't swing a stoned hippie without hitting a microbrew, so I tend to drink a local brew when available to support the local breweries. I stay away from fruity beers, beer should not have fruit in it.

Bob,
You may be the only other person I've yet heard of that was stationed at Liggett! I was there from '88 -'91. Sent a PM.
Now so as not to hijack the thread: I am a big fan of the magic brew. Living within spitting distance of our hockey loving friends to the north; it should come as no surprise that I am sipping on a bottle of Labatt Blue as I type this.

I like to support a couple of breweries here in MI. I generally get something from Bells (Oberon, Two-Hearted, Amber) or Round Barn (Amber, Barodinger, Kolsch, Bob's Your Uncle).
A guy at work bought me some Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat Ale that was pretty good too.

I was actually able to drink some kind of Belgian beer from Trader Joe's.

I meet people from California all the time and ask them if they know where FHL is. They usually look at me like a chicken watching a card trick.
