Happy Thanksgiving

For those in America who still believe in such things. Happy Thanksgiving. For every one else, be safe and happy.

The Irishes are headed to Savannah, GA. For 4 days of exploring History with two of the Irish boys. Mrs. Irish found us an 1850's townhouse to stay in and we are bringing the bicycles for exploration.

Mrs. Irish already has most of the Thanksgiving meal pre-prepared all we have to do tomorrow is put it in the oven and cook most of it. She sent a turkey to the Barbeque joint to have it smoked and she is in there right now making sausage and cornbread dressing. She already has pecan chocolate chip pie and gooey pumpkin bread made. I can't wait to chow down.

Saturday afternoon is the Alabama-Auburn game, we all plan on being at some sports bar in front of a big screen TV with beer and wings.

But none of that is what Thanksgiving is about. It is about being thankful for your family and friends and the all the things you have no matter how meager they may be.

I want to wish all my friends on the forum a great holiday, I want to thank you for your friendship and I want to say that I miss all of you and I hope to see you all again soon. I also want to wish everyone else a great holiday and I hope to meet you all soon and hope that we can build a friendship as well.

Yeah, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.

PS. I'm thankful that my in-laws are visiting. The key word is 'visiting' because that means that don't live nearby!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!

We'll be at the in-laws tomorrow, along with about 20 friends and relations who see each other once a year. Last time the toddlers were seriously out of control and driving me crazy. I don't have a toddler to torture people with, so I'm taking my dog. That should make things so much better!
