Hobbits kill animals in NZ
This is about my beloved Hobbits, a very sad story, seems they have up and killed 27 animals at an animal sanctuary. Animal wranglers claim despite warnings from them the Hobbits were callous about chicken, sheep, goats and horses lives.
I hang my head in shame and hope my grand kids don't find out before we see the new movies. Hard to believe little hairy footed folk should be so cruel. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment...est=latestnews

Temperatures are fluctuating wildly at one of two volcanoes Peter Jackson used as "Mount Doom" in his Lord of the Rings trilogy and scientists believe an eruption at Mount Ruapehu on New Zealand's North Island could happen any day. Ruapehu is the country's largest active volcano and last erupted in 2007. If it does blow its top soon, it could ground flights and potentially disrupt the world premiere of "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" in Wellington next week!

Animal wranglers?
Neither we or the Kiwi's use the word Wranglers, though they are a brand of jeans. I thought the animals had to be big, like a steer or a cow before you called their handlers wranglers.
Can you actually wrangle a chicken?

I think you CAN, but you might get arrested if caught.
(hang on, just looked up the meaning of wrangle, scratch that.)

american cowboys don't use the term wrangler aswell.
I worked in the cattle bussiness and when I was a noob I called a cowboy a wrangler. And he called me something too!
It seems to be a term used by movie industry.

I wouldn't believe all you read
Oh, and another volcano next to Mt Ruapehu blew this afternoon. Only a small eruption but something is definitely brewing..... see the TVNZ website: http://tvnz.co.nz/
