Sounds like you are better equipped than I am to handle this project HAP. You're local-ish and you have experience with the whole phenomenon.

Just saw two interesting statistics today. First, the average American walks about 900 miles per year. Second, the average American drinks 22 gallons of alcoholic beverages per year.

Combining the two statistics, it appears that the average American gets about 40 miles per gallon. Not too shabby!
