Juni, an Interstate-5 overpass in my town was the last remaining bridge to be raised to standard along the entire I-5 corridor. It had already been scraped many times. I was standing near it with several co-workers when a rig towing a HUGE backhoe-like digger slammed into the bridge. Much of my town is built on sand, so the ground shook like Jell-o. The bridge-replacement timeline was bumped up after that one.

Is there a chef in the house? I have no idea what these knives are for. I picked them up on two occasions from the same thrift store. The closest thing I've seen on the internet is a "tomato knife," but they aren't quite the same. They're not filet knives, either (I have several of those). It's been a kitchen mystery in my house for years. I use them mainly to core out grapefruit, but they're not grapefruit knives either (not flexible enough).

Must have wanted some video footage, I hear the same thing happens there every month or so.
