Metisse Scrambler

Has anyone actually ever purchased and owned one of these?

I keep hearing the company makes them here in the UK and they seem a nice speciality / niche market bike, but not much else have I heard?

Metisse are beautiful and dear as poison. They are not good value for money, but they are just the ducks guts in style and finish. They have something to do with the Rickman Bros, but last time I said they owned it I was corrected. Anyway the Metisse frames are very Rickman.

Here is their 1000cc twin.

The Metisse frame was originally designed by the Rickman brothers in the late sixties for their own use using mostly Triumph engines. They were top scrambles riders at the time. They went on to make a business out of it but later sold the design on. Now supplied to the classic bike scene and can take a variety of motors.
