I expect my big brother is about my best and oldest friend. We both have scars from the scuffling we did in our younger years but all that is forgotten now. I am looking forward to seeing him next week in Australia. He will also be attending my son's wedding and his son (the same age as my boy) will be the best man. There are going to be two very proud uncles and fathers witnessing that ceremony.

I fell out of touch with a childhood (age of 4 to 18) friend. She moved to California got married and moved to Wyoming. I found out two weeks or so ago that she lived in NM now, two hours from me. I am meeting her for the first time in 40 years. You can say what you want about facebook but it is a great way to reconnect with old friends....
