Pants popped - tick.
HAP lost marbles - tick.
I have already recovered. Not even KTM-Mick saw fit to cover the SD in it's own separate thread. I'll post the punchline here too.

And? I have seen Speed Triples do the same bit of drifting. What is your point?

The Speedies were the support act - Codge. Can't you read your programme? Hang on - I think your spectacles are in your poppy-pouch.
Say what you want HAP. I have a Kato AND a Speedie. Suck that!

I can't match you with my old S4RS and D675 at all. You rule.

Not so fast old man. Both your bikes would eat my Speedie - as long as the rider knew what he was doing.

Totally awesome, but I can only imagine what the price tag will be on that puppy. Anybody know?
I agree with Hap about the 675r,which is a wicked ride, it would have to be alot more bike for the extra coin.Thats a good one Hap, a praying mantis going to bite my head off, kind of looks like it, but it's still cool looking.

I can't say for sure, but I am of the belief that they want to move them faster than the RC8, so cheaper than one of those.

The Rc8 is $17.600 in Canada, if they sell them cheaper than that, then that's a good bang for the buck. I wonder if this things street legal or for the track only. I know it's not a Triumph but.... it is wicked!

Sorry, I can't see comparing this and the new 675R in any way. That's as far off the mark as the idea of comparing the Speedy and the new Honda.
Both good bikes I'm sure, but the new KTM most closely goes up against the S3. And that's an unfair comparison as the S3 will likely be down 50+ hp on this thing.
As for the preying mantis, I think I like that description. And for this bike, I think it's appropriate. KTMs aren't supposed to be pretty, they're supposed to be angry. I think it's all the RedBull in the water supply in Austria or something.
BTW, I also have to say I'm not particularly impressed with the styling on the new 675 either...
