It is amazing the advances that have been made in photography frame rates. When I worked in aerospace years ago we routinely used 1,000 frames a second film and occasionally 10,000 frames per second film. Oh what we could have done with this capability! I can only imagine studying propellant flame spreading, combustion boundary layers, and detonation propagation with this.
