Yea Dick Tracy probably had both cars and bikes that looked like that then. It was built then with out the use of exhaust wrap, fat tires because they are the rage, plastic this and plastic that, but by an artisan, bending and shaping metal. I wouldn't want it but love to see something authentic once in a while. Beauty they say is in the eye of the beholder.

If Victory ever comes out with a scooter I can only imagine it will look just like that Henderson.
And if you like that, you'll most likely appreciate this Arlen Ness design as well... Smooth-Ness.

Saw the Arlen Ness bike at a show here in SD a few weeks back, It reminded me of the OP pics when I saw it.
Thought it was a beauty!

I like it too Hap. Maybe it's a codger thing. You could ride beside the new Gold Wing bagger and look like a super sidecar rig.

Sadly, we, few older "codgers", are the only ones who see a work of motorcycle art beyond chopping up an existing bike or connecting store bought farkels to create a new monstrosity.
Reading the history seems the guy built it for himself, no magazine, no sponsor, just himself. Loved it and most assuredly would have it in my collection if I had a collection.
Okay, back to wasp butt Katies and ridged framed, fat tired, exhaust wrapped works of "modern" art.

I always considered myself old fashioned, but maybe I've finally reached "codgerdom"... well I have according to HAP at least.
I actually like the Henderson scooter, love the Arlen Ness bike, and plan on buying a Honda CB1100 as soon a possible.
