I have a quick release system on my spare tank 3.5 gallons ...it has a electric selenoid switch valve under the seat. I hit the button and the valve opens and empties the tank in about 20 minutes. It works great and acts as a back rest as well....I can go 350 to 380 with out stopping. The expresso maker sits on top of it....

I rode down to it before, and have no qualms doing it again, but I am not going to sit on a boring fecking interstate and miss everything the country has to offer, so it's a question of time and vacation allowance that's available. The married folks are typically unable to get enough days to go on a long motorcycle trip with their buddies, but I might convince a few to come. Or I'll do it on my own again maybe. Again, if time allows.

One thing is that it is the weekend after labor day, so that potentially offers me the opportunity to have a decent tour down there, and I can crunch the distance back if needs be. I'd still prefer two days on the backroads over one suckass trip on the interstate though.

So, you'll just have to wait until next year to see if I'm coming or not. If you want to ride up here, and then ride down there with me I'm up for that.

Well said. I really think this bike is going to be well received, actually.

Ride don't take offense ....the distance limited bikers just don't get it...lol

Prop I woiuld love to ride up the interstate and take back roads backdown....a ride is enjoyable no matter what I ride on......I find interstates more challenging with all the cagers......sometimes...

I think it needs a topbox, saddle bags, a comfy seat for a passenger, a taller windscreen and some chrome.

No offense Lee but I'm not one of those distance limited guys. I still don't get it though.
