I wouldn't even look at this bike twice.

Harken back to the days of super reliable but soulless Hondas of the 70s and 80s.
Triumphs of those days were not great but had soul. Now Triumphs are as reliable and still retain their classic character.
Honda = BORING

I really like the classic look but with a bit of a modern flair. We'll see how it sells. I'd have preferred to see it at 800 to 1000 ccs. If I didn't have my T100 I'd look at it but I don't see any change in my stable on the horizon.
Also, the Bonnie is perfect. I hope they don't mess with perfection at Triumph!

It's pretty boring indeed. Don't like the look of the engine, the tank and the rear tail light.

I don't like the shape of the tank and the wheels and brake discs look kinda spindly for a bike of its size and power. I bet they sound even more like a sewing machine than a stock Bonnie. BORING !!!

Finally... road dog wants!
I've started wishing Honda would bring this bike to the US market since I first saw one online proly 3 years ago. Now I only wish I could justify having 2 bikes.

A blank canvas, just like the Bonnie. I can see it being modded as we do with our bikes, i.e. all the noise baffling removed, higher CR, updated forks/suspension. It wouldn't take much work for it to produce over 100bhp and be an excellent cafe racer with clipons, bikini fairing and rear sets, but without the class and breeding of a Triumph.

If you figure that out, let me know.

I justified having two bikes by saying "I'd like another bike."
