I agree. I read the book, it was a collection of personal accounts, which is what made it interesting and different. The movie looks nothing at all like that, it looks like, dare I say it... another Zombie movie. I`m sure it will be enjoyable, though.

Yes. Pretty much another zombie movie.

The fact that the novel and the movie are different makes reading the book before seeing the film more appealing as well. I haven't read fiction since the 90's but this sounds worth a read. Cheers.
P.S. It is fiction, right?

It's a documentary, I think.

Yup, lots of shooting in the head and Brad Pitt goes home to his wife and kids in one piece after whacking a gagillion zombies.
I can`t wait for "28 months later" proper zombie film guaranteed not to have a happy ending.

Yeah, that would be good.
I really enjoyed 28 days later, but I thought 28 weeks later was a bit weak, although it was fun to see Hamish MacBeth turned into a rage zombie early in the movie.

I don't like fast zombies, just seems that reanimated dead flesh shouldn't be the most coordinated.

I had extended dreams about the zombie apocolypse last night. I was hiding in some abandoned hotel. Of course, the other humans were the biggest problem, wanting to encroach on my digs and all. One guy wanted to borrow money, not sure what that was about, there was no where to spend it anymore.
What an excellent night's sleep, I wish that happened every night.

The fast rage zombies are just a creation of hollywood, those aren't real.

Fast zombies, vampires that prefer sex to blood. What's next, coyote catches the road runner?
