Yes, thanks all. So it was the age old dead battery. I bought one those charger/battery/jump started with built in compressor things. Plugged up the charged battery and it fired up. I rode for a couple of hours. Back home now. Will see if the battery holds charge till tomorrow morning when I fires it back up again.

I am in awe. It's amazing ride and so natural. On my Honda shadow rs I always felt Like a newbie learning rider. On the bonnie everything flows and maneuvers so naturally and instinctively. It just does what you ask of it!

I am absolutely sure this was the right decision.

Thanks again all for the great support.

I am going to do a side by side review of the shadow rs vs Bonneville. I know there are a lot of folks comparing the 2 bikes to figure out which to buy.

This was the first bike I have ridden where I couldn't stop smiling the entire time riding.

That is the biggest downfall if these bikes, the infectious grin! That and the "I had a Triumph way back when" at the gas stations.

Touche!

I would mod it so it went round corners as good as an oil in frame Bonnie does...

I'm glad you were able to ride for a few hours in today's nice weather.

I took the Scrambler out for some smiles of my own around Martin's Creek.

I had the dealer at the time of purchase install the tall backrest, tall windshield, double buckle saddlebags, centerstand and the powerlet outlet. He gave me 10% off which was great. I then installed an aftermarket Garmin GPS cradle. I wanted the aftermarket mufflers but it was too much for my budget. Maybe later. Would like a deeper throatier sounding exhaust but they are big bucks.

So the bike ride yesterday was phenomenal. Parked my bike and woke up to a dead battery again this morning.
I suspected it was a bad battery yesterday. Dealer agrees and is giving me a new battery.
