Cute, but of little protection in an off.

I even have leather Chucks and would never dream of wearing them to ride in...good luck with that...

I'm a big fan of Chucks, but I doubt they will provide much protection. May want to try these instead:

They are more expensive, but still have a similar look to the Chucks. Also, they are going to have more protection for riding; they are waterproof; and they are made of leather (probably more durable). I think they look pretty cool too.

There's a slim chance that the leather in those things might not disintegrate in a crash but if not then I'm pretty sure that the stitching on the seams will.

Hey, you can hate all you want. I'll just chuckle. I'm currently riding in tennis shoes so they can't be much worse. I've seen guys ride in flip flops. i didn't have 250 for the Gasolina's i want, but needed some new kicks since my Nike's have a fat hole anyway... Its just something fun guys.

Good luck with that? that made me laugh. it's not like a pair of kicks is going to cause me to crash.

They won't cause you to crash no, they just won't do much good if you do.

You really need the skin on your feet, too many things bend there so it's screaming agony if it has to grow back.
