I spoke with a friend of mine that owns two pubs here in town and he told be that the "Gold" has been around for a little while and the "Black" newer and limited so when its gone its gone for a while...Im probably going to end up getting both...

Now those guys might appreciate a Jameson.

Last month I attended Whiskyfest in New York for the 2nd year in a row. If you like whiskey and whisky, that is the event to attend. All the major distillers are theregiving out samples of some of their finest stuff. They also do it in San Francisco and Chicago. It ain't cheap, but it's damn sure worth it. Three hours passed in what seemed like 20 minutes.

I did try that Jameson Black there, and a billion other drams. The Jameson was good but if you're going to spend that kind of money there are better options out there IMHO.

Among my collection of Irish whiskies, I have a bottle of Jameson Gold, and Jameson which were given to me as gifts. I also have a bottle of James Distillery Reserve that I picked up at the source in Midleton a few years back.

Yep, I tried the Redbreast 12. Not bad stuff!

The Greenore is also very nice.

For an everyday Irish, give me a Paddy, Powers or Bushmills.

They may be related to the three I already had... so Ill have to do some DNA testing...
