Well, I've met a lot of people from the UK and have liked all of them. I have one I email several times a day and her and I have a ton in common. There are many times when she tells me what she's making for dinner and I have no clue what it is, but I always tell her it sounds good, lol!
Speaking of which, one of the things she made the other day was "a swede". Can someone shed some light on what that might be? To me a swede is a good looking young gentleman of Swedish heritage. Somehow I don't think my definition of what she made was what was on the menu.

A. From a safety point of view yes.
This has been experimentally verified.
I ride in Australia. I have rarely come close to a head on collision here.
I spend 2 months in US and Canada. I had... well.. let's say "several" incidents where I nearly had a head on collision.
Difference between the two situations? Americans drive on the opposite side of the road.
Conclusion. Driving on our side of the road is safer.
Perfectly logical, experimentally tested evidence.

There HAP did you follow that? You seem to understand non-Boldorians better. If Jonk went further with his logic, he'd have arrived at the sensible understanding that logically, South is up. If you remain curious I can explain, it's lengthy, but I can accurately describe why North should be considered downwards.
A swede is like a turnip Roxy. Best baked. Brassicas (which include swedes and turnips etc), grow well in places other things cannot. I presume that Swedes grew later into the Autumn and earlier in Spring if you lived in a God-forsaken climate like Sweden - hence the name. I may be wrong.

Isn't that the "Think Vat at the the Dog institute that came up with that reasoning or was it the huge 3/4 ton Chevy pickup headed right at you?

Roxy,
Don't listen to Boldor. A swede is a rutabaga, not a turnip! So say my Scottish in-laws, and I believe 'em.
